Empties- April 2014

I know im kind of late to post my empties blog for the month of April, but here goes nothing.

1. The new colgate visible white

It claims to give you 1 shade whiter teeth in 1 week. I got this for 2.99 dollars & this stuff is amazing. i can see a difference in the first time i used it. but i had just one problem with this. this guy was too strong for me. i could almost feel my teeth getting weak. my teeth became super sensitive. nevertheless, i guess i would still use it until i find a better toothpaste. because by far this is the most effective toothpaste ive ever used. i have already bought another pack of it, because i like that it works.

2. Axe touch deodorant body spray
Im the type of girl who likes manly scents for girls. I dont know its just my thing. i dont really know how to describe the scent. but i guess ill type the back of the bottle. It says its a unforgettable impressions of a warm fruity fragrance. it strictly says to shake well and hold the can upright and spray 15 cm from underarm and body for best effects. i got it for 4.99 dollars.it contains 150 ml which is 96g. i dont think i will repurchase the exact same body spray. not because its a bad scent. but i like exploring and trying out different body sprays. thats all.

3. Creation Lamis Spring paradise deodorant body spray

Again im not good in describing scents and it didnt have any description in the back. i got this for $ 2.9. and this is a huge bottle, it contained 6.6 fl. oz which is 200 ml. It had a floral scent, almost smells like a garden or something. its a good scent but as mentiond earlier i wont be repurchasing it because i like trying different body sprays.

4. MAC studio fix powder plus foundation in nc20 and nc45

So i ran out of 2 of the nc20 and 2 of the nc45 of the mac studio fix powders. it gets empty pretty fast. and im not ashamed to mention that this is FAKE MAC product. it was affordable. 4 dollars per compact. and the pigmentation of this product is amazing. the coverage is medium to full and it does not look caky or watsoever. the only downside of this powder is that it runs up super fast. other than that this is amazing. i have repurchased it already. this is my favourite powder of all time. i will repurchase it :)

5. PONDS white beauty spotless day cream

It has pro nutrients plus triple vitamins. It wts 40 g. i got it for $2.6 . It was a okay-okay product for me. nothing special. it was just like a normal moisturiser. and it didnt do much for my spots. i wont be repurchasing it again.

6. Flormar nail care max growth

This is just like a top coat for ur nails. i use it before applying nail polish to prevent my nails from staining. and also after applying my nail polish and when its dry , as a top coat. i have seen a difference in my nails, it has got stronger and it grows very fast. mine grew in just 2 days. it was for 2.5 dollars. i have already repurchased it.

7. Mistline thunder whitening roll om

i got it in india , i dont know how much it costs. but i was desperatly in need of a good deodarant. so i bought in from a local drugstore. it had a manly scent for girls. i dont know i really liked it. and maybe i will buy it if i see it anywhere.

Thats it for my april 2014 empties. i hope u guys enjoyed and il see you guys next time.

Lakme' Absolute Mattreal Skin Natural Mousse Review

Before i say anything about this product i want you guys to know that i have sensitive oily acne prone skin, and this review is my real experience with the product.
So i have this foundation om number 03 golden medium.

It claims that this is a mousse to powder formula which delivers a feather light finish giving you breathable natural skin. While its weightless formulation hides pores, fine lines and uneven skin tone to leave skin peachy soft all thorough the day. It has SPF 8, and it lasts up to 16 hours. And it weights 25g.

Heres how to use it;
Using fingertips gently spread tiny dots of Absolute mattreal skin natural mousse over the face and neck area.

It was for around 10 DOLLARS.

Packaging:
The packaging of this mousse is so winsome and has been very artfully done. I found it really appealing in this round, ball-like shape with steel/silver finish lid and grey-coloured lower compartment which holds the product.

My Experience with Lakme Absolute Mattreal Skin Natural Mousse:

This has to be the fastest blending foundation I have come across. The mousse has this very interesting formula. When you touch it feels somewhat creamy. I just dot it all over my face and this blends into my skin seriously in no time. It clears out my face on application, so about the coverage, I would say it is definitely light-medium coverage foundation. The mousse is lightweight, does look natural on my skin and is weightless/doesn’t feel heavy at all . The coverage is just slightly more than my tinted moisturiser. This can be a good product for you if you have slight imperfections. This does not provide much coverage to dark spots, so I would suggest you use a concealer over this. This dries to a matte finish.  the fragrance of the product is not bad in any way, somewhat floral and citrus fragrance I reckon, but it carries a LOT of it.
I applied it on my face around 11:00 am, its super blend-able. the formula is amazing and easy to work with. It concealed all the redness in my face. but it does not do a good job in covering my acne scars. Not even after 1 hour it started to crease around under my eyes, forehead and smile lines. My makeup started to melt off.

Pros of Lakme Absolute Mattreal Skin Natural Mousse:

Lightweight, soft formula.
Blends amazingly within seconds without much effort.
Gives light- medium coverage.
I have sensitive, acne-prone skin, but it did not break me out.
Attractive packaging.

Cons of Lakme Absolute Mattreal Skin Natural Mousse:

The 16-hour claim is not true at all. The staying power is about 4-5 hours only.
If you need a lot of coverage, you may not like this.
Has strong (even though not bad) fragrance.
$10 price tag for a light coverage foundation may seem exorbitant to some.

Not good for people who live in hot places, because for sure ur makeup will melt down.

I wont be repurchasing this. because i dont think it is worth the money for some sheer foundation which has a strong fragrance. even though i like the formula and packaging of this product im gonna let go of this product.

So heres my review. i hope you guys enjoy. let me know what you guys think in the comments below. and il see you guys next time. Also dont forget to leave me a comment in which product review you wanna see next.

Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse Review

Hey guys today i wanted to review the Maybelline dream liquid mousse foundation for you guys.

I have the shade honey beige (medium 4). It comes in 1 Fl OZ which is 30 ml. i kinda have a love/ hate relation with this foundation.

I have tried this foundation with a sponge, a brush and also my hands. I feel like the best way to use this foundation is with a brush. For me 1 and a half pump is enough for my whole face.

i have sensitive, oily, acne prone skin. and my skin is not doing so well at this moment. it covers all the redness in my face and somewhat camouflages my pimples, not fully. this is a light to medium coverage foundation. This product is very light weight does not really cover imperfections if you have them like me. i could still see my acne scars a little bit on my face.

this foundation is build-able and it blends like a dream. their are some down sides of this too, this foundation makes my pores bigger and thats not cool.. it is noticeable. but i like the finish of it. even though it says "air brush finish" i dont think it gives me that. i like the finish of it but its definately not an air brush finish.

I applied this foundation today around 8 am, and i feel like it started creasing around my eyes at 11 something am. but that was ok i fixed it. i also noticed that throughout the day ur foundation just gets better and better. it leaves a natural finish except for the eye creasing part. i feel like it stayed on my face for 8-9 hours.

Health wise: Dreamliquid Mousse is hypoallergenic, dermatologist tested, oil and fragrance free and non-comedogenic making it safe to use for acne-prone, sensitive skin like mine.

Packaging wise: The foundation is in a small, fully transparent, clear glass bottle with a lockable pump top- perfect packaging to maintain cleanliness, hygiene and it allows you to see how much foundation is left.

Pricing/Accessibility: Dreamliquid runs about $8 – which is affordable considering the quality of it. And it can be found in any retailer that carries Maybelline: Target, Wal-Mart, CVS, Rite-Aid, Walgreens, etc.

I definitely recommend this foundation- and if you can’t get a perfect match try blending two colors: a shade darker and a shade lighter than your skin tone.

Thats it for my review. i hope you guys found it helpful. comment below on what product u want me to review next.
